The Solo preliminaries opened the second day of the Synchronized Swimming Mediterranean Cup, being held at the Aquatic Centre in Ostia until Sunday 9h August. Francesca Zunino, who scored an encouraging 77.6777 (23.7 for Execution, 31.0667 for Artistic Impression and 23 for Difficulty The Italian Zunino takes the first place, while in the second one we find the Spaniard Alisa Ozhogiina, who scored 77.3667. Greece, instead, took the third place. Today, this afternoon, the first medals of the Mediterranean Cup will be awarded, starting from 18.00 with the Free Routine Combination. The same Free Routine Combination, which gave the first medals of the Mediterranean Cup away and quickly put a smile on the faces of the Italian team. Alessandra Braga, Costanza Brogioli, Beatrice Lazzaro, Matilde Longoni, Francesca Mazzucco, Marta Murru, Carmen Rocchino, Lucrezia Ruggiero, Aurora Savi and Isotta Savi all place third, scoring 79.3 (23.1 for Execution, 32.4 for Artistic Impression and 23.8 for Difficulty). Spain got the gold medal, scoring 80.3333, whilst Italy got the silver one.
