Mediterranean Cup. Report fourth day

Federica Zunino came third in the Solo final of the Synchronized Swimming Mediterranean Cup, which is being held at the Aquatic Centre in Ostia. The Italian athlete scored 78.0667 (23 for Execution, 30.6767 for Artistic Impression, 23.7 for Difficulty) in the Solo Free Routine which, added to the score she gained in the Figures, puts her onto the third place. The medal won by Zunino is the third Italian medal in this Comen Cup, after the silver medal obtained on Thursday by the Free Combination and the bronze medal won by the Free Routine Duet on Friday. The gold medal in the Solo was won by the Spaniard Alisa Ozhogina, scoring 155.5711, whilst the Greek Anna Maria Taxopoulou won the bronze medal, by scoring 151.8356. The fourth medal of this Comen Cup was won by the Italian team in the Team final. Alessandra Braga, Costanza Brogioli, Beatrice Lazzaro, Marta Murru,  Carmen Rocchino, Lucrezia Ruggiero, Isotta Sportelli and Francesca Zunino scored 150.5906 (58.6 from the Solo Free Routine and 72.0906 from the Figures). Spain did better than the Italian team, by scoring 155.5578 whilst the bronze medal went to Greece, that scored 147.2528. The Italians reached the second place in the general ranking list of the Mediterranean Cup as well, by scoring 532.8307 behind the Spaniards, who scored 547.5133.
