Other than the athletes directly called in the National Team, Italian athletes within the time limits required for the Spring Italian Championships of 9-13 April 2013 will be admitted to participate (these times must be achieved by Sunday 2nd of June at the latest).

The appropriate system of registration online will open starting Thursday 30th of May on the FIN Site, with the usual procedure.
The system will remain open for the Clubs until 12pm, Monday 3rd of June.
The Clubs are not required to provide registration of the athletes which are called in the National Absolute Representative, which will been taken care of by the FIN Executive. The system will not accept registration of athletes in races in which they don’t have the admission times indicated in the first paragraph and in the rankings of the FIN database when the on-line registration system opens.

In case of absence in recent competitions or prior to the last weekend before deadline, the athletes are invited to inform the system, sending time and location where the athlete has achieved the limit time for the competition. This can be done by using the appropriate program for the dispatching of communications and emails included in the registration system online (communication button). This program can also be used to send other particular communications.

With this system, it is also possible to communicate athletes which have the right to participate if they satisfy certain requirements, these being:
- winners of individual medals of age 17,18 (men) and age 15-16 (women); and winners of individual medals for women of age 17-18 and men of age 19-20.
- Athletes of age 14,15,16 (men) and 13,14 (women) which have achieved the time limits at the youth Italian championships.

The names of the twenty athletes admitted to participate in the races of the 800 freestyle and 1500 freestyle women and men, who will compete in two series, the fastest in the afternoon, will be promptly communicated at the closure of the registration process.
