The first day of competition is coming to an end with the execution of the SERC (Simulated Emergency Response Competition in Teams). This particular competition is, as always, the first one that the Teams must face in every Championship. Shortly this is an emergency set in which  various actors simulate a different incident situation, like drowning, cardiac arrest, fainting. Four members of every National Team, are judged from the ILSE referees and gain points for each rescuing action they make, but they must be smart to catch the most dangerous scenery at first in order to gain the best score within two minutes. One member of the Team manages the others to the different actors he reckons are in the most risky situation. None of the Teams are aware of the Rescuing set since they enter the pool. Medals and points are assigned.  12 Nations involved, the first to start was Belgium, the last one Switzerland, Italy was the fitfh to go. The results crown Germany as winner, followed by France and Great Britain.  Last placement for the Host National Team.
