We continue our journey to know the international champions who will participate in the 51st edition of Trofeo Settecolli - Clear of swimming from 13 to 15 June 2014 in Rome. Katinka Hosszú and Femke Heemskerk wait you at Stadio del Nuoto!

Katinka Hosszú was born in Pécs, in Hungary, on 3 May 1989. Three times world champion and two times European champion in short course with overall 28 international podia. She misses only the Olympic rush. During the World Championships 2009 in Rome at Stadio del Nuoto, she obtained a royal tris: she won in 400m medley and ranked third in 200m medley and in 200m butterfly. Recent winner of World Cup, she was always attracted to the water element. Her grandfather often carried her to swimming pool instead of Kindergarten when she was only 2 years old. At the age of 10 years, she trained twice a day encouraged by a very sporty family: her father was a basketball player and then a coach and also her two brothers followed his footsteps. During her few leisure times, she discovered new sports such as surf, wakeboarding, horse riding, polo and boxing. To relax she goes to the beach, aquarium, acquapark and zoo. Before starting competitions and during her trainings, she loves to listen to rap, including artists such as Kanye West, Eminem, Jay-Z and Chamillionare. She appreciates their artistic style, genuineness and authenticity of their texts. In addition to rap, she also loves to listens to dance music.

Femke Heemskerk was born in Roelofarendsveen, in Holland, on 21 September 1987. A point of reference for freestyle relays, she conquered a gold in London Olympic Games 2012 and a silver in Beijing 2008 in 4x100m, her specialty in European Championships 2008 and World Championships 2009 and 2011. Specialized in freestyle, first of all in 200m, she is among the rivals of Federica Pellegrini. During her leisure time, she devotes to her friends. She adores good food and music and first of all she loves dancing. Among her favourite groups there is the electronic music Parisian duo, Daft Punk. She also loves travelling and reading.
