For some of them – the President of FIN said – it represents the opportunity, one of the last, to reach the qualification time for the World competition. The four-way competition of water polo has a significant importance thanks to the participation of four leader teams, and this is the last test before the World League that will occur in Bergamo and raffle the first Olympic pass. At last, the exhibition of mixed duet of synchro will have not less importance. This rising specialty will be included into the programme at World Championships”.

From Settecolli, significant indications are expected by Cesare Butini, TD of the swimming national team: “We await to put on a show: the starting list is on top level. For us it is one of the last opportunities to complete the selection that will participate in World Championships in Kazan at the end of July”. Another protagonist of the press conference was Alessandro Campagna, head coach of Settebello, who underlined his will to have “a so competitive tournament to test the athletic conditions of the team and to go to the World League in the best way”. “I expect a great audience, after all Settebello – Campagna continued – beckons the cheer of great events and this team, ranking the first four positions at all the international competitions since 2010, deserves support in every circumstance”.

It will be an important test event thanks to strong nations such as Russia, one of the favourite for the World Championships, Turkey and Columbia.
