In the first match Hungary wins against United States 13-7 (partials 3-2, 7-3, 2-1, 1-1). Then Italy, in front of 1500 people, is won by Croatia 12-11 (partials 3-3, 3-2, 3-3, 3-3). During a balanced match, the break by Croatians fot 7-5 with goals of  Sukno, Vukicevic e Jokovic. Italy pass on 11-10 at 3 minutes to left, but a penalty of Petkovic and the gol of Buric in counterattack close the match.
