Cesar Augusto Cielo Filho was born in Santa Barbara d’Oeste in Brazil in 1987. Italian blood flows into his vessels: his father Cesar was born in Sovizzo in Veneto. World record man in 50m and 100m-freestyle, he is the most representative swimmer in the Brazilian history. Thanks to this he is called “Kakà of swimming”, with three Olympic medals and six individual gold medals won at World Championships. In Beijing 2008, he wins the gold medal in 50m-freestyle and fixes the Olympic record with 21”30 and conquers the bronze medal in 100m-freestyle. At World Championships 2009 in Rome, he wins the gold medal both in 50m and 100m-freestyle, fixing the World record with 46”91. In December he fixes the World record in 50m-freestyle with ??? at national Championships. At World Championships in Shanghai 2011, he wins the gold medal in 50m-freestyle and butterfly. A wonderful double win repeated in Barcelona two years later. In the meanwhile, he enriches his “Olympic” hit list with the bronze medal won at the London Olympic Games in 50m-freestyle. He has to give up the World Championships in Kazan because of an inflammation in his left shoulder. Then, he does not get the qualification for Rio Games. During an interview, he defined himself as the “perfect man” because he doesn’t dance samba, he doesn’t drink caipirinha and he reads psychology books.

Felipe Ferreira Lima was born in Cuiabà on 5th April 1985. In 2006, he debuts in International competitions participating in the World Championships in Shanghai in short course ranking twelfth in 50m-breaststroke and eighteenth in 100m-breaststroke. In 2008 he gets a good time in 100m-breaststroke useful for the qualification for Beijing Olympic Games (1’01”21), but he is not called because, for each competition, only two swimmers for each country can participate in it. Four years later, he gets a better performance participating in the Olympic Games in London: unluckily he ranks thirteenth in 100m-breaststroke semifinal. At Barcelona World Championships 2013, he writes the history of Brazilian swimming: he wins the bronze medal in 100m-breaststroke in 59”65. No Brazilian swimmer has conquered an Olympic medal in this discipline before. At the World Championships in Windsor 2016 he wins the gold medal in 50m-breaststroke in short course. Felipe likes cycling, and adores to spend his time with his mother and eating out with his friends. From several years he is fiancé of Flavia and they plan to marry soon. The swimmer posted a photo on Instagram in which he has announced his forthcoming marriage.S
