The last day promises new emotions. The start into and out the pool is rippling. Adriy Govorov, European champion in London 2016 and Olympic bronze in Budapest 2017, improves the event record in 50m-butterfly, record detained by him since last year and participates in the Final with the aim to establish the World record. The Ukrainian swimmer, 26 years old on 10th April, who trains with Andrea Di Nino in Caserta, swims his heat in 22"89, twelve hundredths less than the previous record at Sette Colli. But Andriy focuses on the time of 22"43, one of the oldest European and World limit detained by the Spanish Rafael Munoz Perez, obtained on 5th April 2009 in gum swimsuit age. This is an important time for Govorov: second world seasonal performance, following the time of 22"53 swum by him on last 17th June in Monaco at Mare Nostrum. The third preliminary session also speaks Italian, Roman specifically: the 20-years-old rising talent Alessio Proietti Colonna, trained by the Federal Technician Roberto Marinelli for Marina Militare and Aurelia Nuoto Unicusano, surprises all getting the fifth time in 200m-freestyle with 1'48"93 (25"63, 52"99 and 1'90"81 with the last 50m with 27"23) decreasing his time under 1'49" for the first time in his carrier. “I didn’t expect this time – he says out the water – because this is a particular season for me, after the good Criteria and the not at all satisfying Absolute Championships. Sette Colli represents an important step of this 2018”. The Dutch Femke Heemskerk (15 medals among Olympic Games, World and European Championships) is ahead all in female 200m-freestyle with 1'58"31. The Italian swimmer Simona Quadarella – twice-gold in 800m and 1500m-freestyle – goals the Final with her personal time of 2'00"72, 46 hundredths less than 2'01"18 get in Rome on 21st July 2016. This time brings her from the twenty-eighth to twenty-second rank among the Italian performers. At the end of the programme, Ilaria Cusinato gets the fourth time in 200m-medley with 2'14"67. The numbers of the last day register 24 Italian swimmers qualified to the Final A and 42 to the Final B.
