COODORELLI

SANTO CONDORELLI
Santo Yukio Condorelli was born in Hiroshima, Japan, on 17th January 1995. He grows in USA where he trains in California. He participates in Rio Olympic Games 2016, ranking fourth in 100m-freestyle (47"88) at three hundredths to podium. In Brazil he wears a swim cap with the maple leaf because his mother Tonya is Canadian. Since the season 2016/2017 he is a member of the Aurelia Nuoto. He obtains the Italian passport on October 2018 and he participates for the first time with the Italian colours in the Trofeo Nico Sapio. At the World Championships in short course in Hangzhou he wins the bronze medal in 4x50m-freestyle relay, breaking the National record with 1'22"90. At the Absolute Championships in Riccione, he obtains the qualification for the World Championships in Gwangju for the 4x100m-freestyle relay. Condorelli is a friend of several Italian swimmers, in particular of Luca Dotto, companion of trainings leaded by the federal technician Claudio Rossetto. 

CUSINATO

ILARIA CUSINATO 
Ilaria Cusinato is surely the most complete Italian swimmer. She was born in Cittadella on 5th October 1999. She starts swimming at the age of 11 years. When she was 13 years old, she participates in her first International competition, the Eurojunior 2014. At the European Games in Baku 2015, she wins two silver medals in 200m and 400m-medley. Since then she never stops her climbing. Specialized in mixed races, she trains with Stefano Morini at the Federal Centre in Ostia until April. The consecration arrives at the European Championships in short course in Copenhagen 2017, ranking third with 2'08"19 in 200m-medley near the World and Olympic champion Katinka Hosszu. In 2018, she improves twice her personal time in 400m-medley, setting the time of 4'34"65 at the Trofeo Sette Colli. In 200m-medley she set the Italian record with 2'10"92 breaking the record set in gum swimsuit in 2009. At the European Championships in Glasgow 2018, Ilaria is second in 400m-medley and in 200m with the National record of 2'10"25, after a face to face with the Hungarian swimmer. Since May she trains again with her first trainer Alessandro Chinellato.

GABRIELE DETTI 
He was born in Livorno on 29th August 1994. In the autumn 2010 he moves to the federal centre in Ostia with Paltrinieri trained by his federal technician and uncle Stefano Morini. Since then a continue success, influenced only by two accidents avoiding him to participate in the competition seasons 2015 and 2018. Among the several medals, Detti wins the Olympic bronze in 400m and 1500m-freestyle in Rio de Janeiro 2016, the World title with 800m and bronze in 400m in Budapest in 2017 and six European medals including the success in 400m-freestyle in London 2016. Competitive also in short course, Detti wins the bronze medal in 400m-freestyle at the recent World Championships in Hangzhou and four medals at the European Championships. In Italy he is the king of the middle-distance race with his friend Paltrinieri. He holds the European record in 800m with 7'40"77 and the Italian one in 400m with 3'43"36 succeeding Massimiliano Rosolino, star of the Olympic Games in Sidney 2000 where he wins the gold medal in 200m-medley, the silver in 400m and the bronze in 200m-freestyle. Huge fan of Inter, he is a nice and determined person with a joyous and friendly personality.

LUCA DOTTO 
He was born in Camposanpiero on 18th April 1990. He moves to Rome where he is trained by the federal technician Claudio Rossetto. In 2009, he breaks the historic record set by Giorgio Lamberti in 100m-freestyle in second division category with 49"22. Two years later he conquers the second place at World Championships in Shanghai in 50m-freestyle with the best Italian time never swum in tissue (21"90). Star at the Olympic Games in Kazan 2015, he wins the bronze medal in 4x100m-freestyle. European champion in London 2015 (he swims the 100m-freestyle in 48"25), he wins two silver medals in 4x100m-freestyle and medley. The Venetian swimmer-the first Italian breaking the wall of 48"-is on podium again at the European in short course in Copenhagen: gold in 100m-freestyle (46"11), silver in 4x50m-freestyle and bronze in 50m-freestyle. At the Mediterranean Games in Terragona he wins the bronze in 100m-freestyle. Tall, blonde with green eyes, he is the most followed swimmer by audience and sponsors: since 2012 his name is linked to several International brands. Also his love life is linked to sport: his partner is the fencer Rossella Fiamingo.

CHAD LE CLOS 
The star of South-African swimming was born in Durban, South Africa, on 12th April 1992. He starts swimming competitions at the age of 10 years and when he was 14 years old is an athlete of the Olympic senior team. He shines definitively at the Olympic Games in London in 2012: he wins the gold in 200m-butterfly, at a distance of only five hundredths ahead Michael Phelps, and the silver medal in 100m-butterfly. At the World Cup 2013, he sets the World record (1'48"56) in 200m-butterfly in short course. At the Rio Olympic Games 2016, he wins the silver in 200m-freestyle and in 100m-butterfly. One year later, he wins in 200m-butterfly at the World Championships in Budapest. Overall five medals at the World Championships in long course (four gold and one silver medals) and fifteen in short course (ten gold, four silver and one bronze medals). In 2018 he becomes the most successfull athlete at the Commonwealth Games obtaining his seventeenth medal, one bronze in 4x100m-medley. His great passions are boxing and soccer, he is a huge fan of Manchester United. His idols are Muhammad Ali e Cristiano Ronaldo.

BRUNO FRATUS 
Bruno Fratus was born in Macaé, Brazil, on 30th June 1989. He starts his first swimming competitions at the age of eleven years. His first medals arrive in 2011 at the Panamerican Games: two gold in 4x100m-freestyle and in 4x100m-medley, and one silver in 50m-freestyle. In 2012 he obtains the qualification for the Olympic Games in London even if he isn't on podium. In 2013, because of a surgery at his right shoulder, he doesn't swim for all the year. At the World Championships in Kazan 2015, he wins one bronze in 50m-freestyle. In 2016, a back injury influences his performance at the Olympic Games in Rio, ranking sixth in 50m-freestyle. Because of this result he decides to put an end to his carrier, but thanks to his wife Michelle-Brazilian swimmer in Beijing 2008-and his trainer Brett Hawke, he decides to continue. At the World Championships in Budapest 2017, he conquers two silver medals in 50m-freestyle and in 4x100m-freestyle. His idols in swimming world are his fellow countrymen Gustavo Borges and Fernando Scherer and the Australian Brett Hawke.
