Heats day 6. Ukraine and Russia best teams, Tuncel towards 400 freestyle

Last day of competion at Stadio del Nuoto in Rome for the 47th European Junior Championships. Ukranian and Russian Team are the protagonists of last heats. In 400 individual medley ukrainian Georgiy Lukashev qualifies to finals with the fastest time in 4'21"95 and his teammates (Oleksandr Zheltyakov 55"03, Volodymyr Lisovets' 1'00"88, Andriy Kovalenko 54"04, Artem Chobotar 51"18) win the medley relay by 3'41"13. In the same heat among women russian girls are the leaders: Aleksandra Kurilkina (1'03"09), Iuliia Beznosova (1'09"43), Daria Lunina (1'00"91), Daria Trofimova (54"89) swim in 3'41"13 and aiming for their fourth gold medal in relays. 
Morning session starts with women's 400 freestyle. After setting two European Junior records in 800 and 1500, turkish Merve Tuncel leads her last race too in 4'12"22. Behind her third time for her teammate Beril Boecekler in 4'14"53; between them hungarian Bettina Fabian, second in 4'14"34.
