FLORENT MANAUDOU 
The French Florent Manaudou and his sister Laure are the first French brothers winners of Olympic medal in swimming. He was born in Villeurbanne on 12th November 1990. At the age of 17 years, he wins his first National title and in 2011 he participates in the World Championships in Shanghai. The consecration arrives the following year: at the Olympic Games in London he wins in 50m-freestyle with 21"34, the best World time swum in tissue. In 2013 he participates in the World Championships in Barcelona with the first seasonal time but he ranks fifth. During 2013 and 2014, Manaudou stops because of a shoulder injury. Coming back in pool, he wins four gold medals at the European Championships in Berlin (50m-100m-4x100m-50m-butterfly). In Kazan 2015 he wins in 50m-freestyle, 50m-butterfly and in 4x100m-relay. At the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 he is silver in 50m at only 1 hundredth behind the American Ervin. After the Games decides to stop and for two years he dedicates to handball and cinema. In 2019 he comes back into the water, saying in an interview for a French weekly publication, "I miss the adrenaline".

MARTINENGHI

NICOLÒ MARTINENGHI
Nicolò Martinenghi was born in Varese on 1st August 1999. He debuts among the stars at the World Championships in Budapest 2017, in final with 4x100m-mixed medley relay. The Italian athlete, specialized in short distances of breaststroke, holds the Italian record in 100m-breaststroke with 59"01. He participates in Trofeo Sette Colli 2019, after the absence the last year because of an injury at abductor. At the Absolute Italian Championships in Riccione this year, he ranks second behind his friend Fabio Scozzoli at only sixteen hundredths, obtaining the qualification for the World Championships in Gwangju. He loves sports in general, first of all basket, and his heart team is the Pallacanestro Varese. The water is his natural element, preferring the sea to the mountain to have a break and for holidays. He loves passing time with his friends. He also loves listening to music during the hours before a competition to focus on it, but before the beginning of the race he prefers silence around him.

METELLA

MEDHY METELLA 
He was born in Cayenne, in French  Guyana, on 17th July 1992. He follows his sister Malia (Olympic silver in Athens 2004 in 50m) and dives into the water when he was very young. He specialized in short distances of freestyle and butterfly in Marsiglia. He debuts in the world of International swimming in 2012 in Debrecen: he wins the gold in 4x100m-freestyle. Two years later,  he is on the highest step of podium again both at European Championships in Berlin-ranking second in 4x100m-medley- and at the World Championships in short course in Doha. He defends the record also in Kazan: he swims the first fraction in 48"37, and also wins the bronze in 4x100m-medley. At the last step before the Olympic Games in Rio, at the European Championships in London, he ranks  third in 100m-butterfly. In Brazil he is second in 4x100m-freestyle. Again on podium at the World Championships in Budapest: he ends the 100m-freestyle in 47"89, ranking third. Last year at the European Championships in Glasgow he wins one gold, one silver and one bronze medals in 4x100m-medley, in 100m-butterfly and in 100m-freestyle, respectively. He loves soccer game, especially Bayern Monaco and Real Madrid.

Helsinki MILAK

KRISTOF MILAK 
Kristòf Milak was born in Budapest, in Hungary, on 20th February 2000. He debuts in International competitions in 2016 at the Youth European Championships in Hungary, winning the gold medal in 200m-butterfly. The following year, he participates in the World Championships in Budapest, conquering the silver medal in 100m-butterfly behind the American Caeleb Dressel. In 2018 he wins the gold at the European Championships with 1’52’’79, representing the Championships record breaking the record set by his fellow countryman Laszlo Cseh (1’52’’91). In the same year, at the Hungarian Championships in Debrecen, improves his personal time setting the third time of history ahead the South African Chad Le Clos, with the best performance among the six better ones (with the time of 1'52"71), behind Michael Phelps and Laszlo Cseh. His great desire is to participate in Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020. He loves swimming since he was a child and starts practicing this sport in his home pool, inspiring to his idol Michael Phelps.

ALESSANDRO MIRESSI

He was born in Torino on 2nd October 1998. He is trained by the rising technician Antonio Satta. Specialized in freestyle short distances, he is the reigning European champion in 100m-freestyle with 48”01. Gold at the Youth European Championships in Hòdmezovàsàrhely in 2016 in 100m-freestyle, 4x100m-medley and 4x100m-mixed medley. At the European Championships in Copenhagen 2017, he wins silver in short course in 4x50m-freestyle. In last year August, few days after winning the Continental gold in Scotland, at the Italian Championships he sets the Italian record in 100m-freestyle with 47”92. Five months later, at the World Championships in short course in Hangzhou, he obtains his first World podium with 4x50m-freestyle relay, setting the Italian record with 1’22”90 together with Condorelli, Vergani and Zazzeri. At the Absolute Championships in Riccione he swims in 100m-freestyle in 48"32. Before swimming, he practiced soccer game for some years (he is a fan of Juventus). He also loves playing basketball with his friend

GREGORIO PALTRINIERI

He was born in Carpi on 5th September 1994. In the autumn 2010, he moves to the Federal Centre in Ostia together with Gabriele Detti. Trained by the Federal coach Stefano Morini, technical leader of Polo Natatorio, both are writing the history of Italian swimming. Paltrinieri is a star in 1500m: three times European champion in Debrecen 2012, Berlin 2014 and London 2016 where he swims the second time of all times in 14’34”04. Twice World champion in Kazan 2015 and Budapest 2017, Olympic champion in Rio de Janeiro 2016, World champion in short course in Doha 2014 and European champion in Chartres 2012 and Netanya 2015 setting the World record with 14’08”10. Until now, he conquered 9 World medals (5 in long course, 3 gold) and 11 European medals (8 in long course, 7 gold). His next goal is to confirm himself as a leader in long distance races-facing his close friend and World 880m-champion Gabriele Detti-and to reach the top also in 10km-long-distance race at International level already obtaining the podium and satisfactions.
