NOMINATIONS FOR OFFICIALS AT THE
LIFESAVING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
RESCUE 2004 - VIAREGGIO & LIVORNO - ITALY



Invitation to become Referee and/or Official


The ILS Sports Commission invites nominations from referees and officials to officiate at the Lifesaving World Championships - Rescue 2004 at Viareggio, Italy from Monday, 13 September to Sunday 26 September, 2003.

Applicants are invited from all suitable persons who wish to be considered for appointment for these Championships and are invited to complete the attached form and submit it to the ILS Headquarters. Successful applicants will be advised by December, 2003. The ILS Sports Commission will submit your name to your National Federation for endorsement.

Officials are required for the following events which will be contested at the Lifesaving World Championships.

Pool Events: 16/09 and 17/09/2004
Beach and Surf Events: 18/09 and 19/09/2004
Simulated Emergency Rescue Competitions (SERC): 16/09/2004


Interclub Teams
Pool Events: 21/09, 22/09 and 23/09/2004
Beach and Surf Events: 24/09, 25/09 and 26/09/2004
Simulated Emergency Rescue Competitions (SERC): 22/09/2004


Masters
Pool Events: 14/09 and 15/09/2004
Beach and Surf Events: 16/09 and 17/09/2004


Still Water Boat

Please note there will be no IRB Racing at Rescue 2004.

Officials Form

Travelling and accommodation expense for all officials are to be paid for either by the individual concerned or their national federation that nominates the individual. No such expenses are provided for by the Organising Committee of Rescue 2004 or ILS.

The organising committee will be assisting a small number of key appointed officials in terms of travel and accommodation. At this stage it has not be determined which officials will be assisted.
